MEMA Africa Celebrates Youth Talent at Mr & Miss Tranquility Africa and Wezesha Awards 2026

MEMA Africa has reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing and empowering young people in the creative industry following its participation in the Mr & Miss Tranquility Africa and Wezesha Awards 2026, held at PrideInn, Signature Mall.
The MEMA Africa delegation, led by Executive Director Dr. Ezekiel Mutua, MBS, joined young creatives, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and industry leaders for an evening celebrating talent, creativity, fashion, confidence, and pageantry under the theme “Beauty with Purpose.”

The event provided a platform for young people to showcase their talents while highlighting the potential of Africa’s youth in driving the continent’s creative economy.

The MEMA Africa team received a warm welcome from Wezesha Awards CEO Mr. Paul Victor and his team. The delegation also interacted with young leaders led by Mr. Kevin Musyoka, alongside entrepreneurs, policymakers, and other distinguished guests.

Among those who joined Dr. Mutua at the celebration were MEMA Africa nominees Dr. Neriah Muisyo and Mama Kayai, as well as MEMA Africa Directors Erick Binges and Immaculate Onyoni.

Speaking during the event, Dr. Ezekiel Mutua commended the organizers for creating a platform that recognizes and celebrates the abilities of Africa’s young people.

“The event is evidence that the talent and creativity of our youth is unmatched. The energy, the joy and the boisterous atmosphere in the room is simply amazing. Congratulations to Paul Victor and his team for this amazing event,” said Dr. Mutua.
Dr. Mutua emphasized that Africa’s young people possess immense creative potential that can contribute significantly to economic development if supported with the right structures and opportunities.

MEMA Africa continues to champion initiatives aimed at strengthening the creative economy by creating platforms, partnerships, opportunities, and support structures that enable creatives to showcase, monetize, and sustainably grow their talents.
