ENG. BOVINCE OCHIENG HONOURED FOR TRANSFORMATIVE LEADERSHIP AT TOP EXCELLENCE AWARDS SEASON 3

Eng. Bovince Ochieng, the Chief Officer for Education, Technical Training, Innovation and Social Services in the County Government of Kisumu, was among the distinguished leaders honoured during the Top Excellence Awards Season 3, held today at Urban Wood Hotel, Nairobi.

The award recognized Eng. Ochieng's visionary leadership and outstanding contribution to advancing education, technical training, innovation, and social services in Kisumu County.
Speaking after receiving the award, Eng. Ochieng expressed gratitude for the recognition, describing it as a reflection of the collective efforts to transform education and skills development across the county.

"I am delighted and deeply honoured to be recognized among the Top Excellence Awards Season 3 recipients for visionary leadership and transformative impact in education, technical training, innovation and social services in Kisumu County," he said.

He noted that the recognition reinforces the county's commitment to integrating technology into learning, modernizing vocational training, expanding opportunities for skills development, and empowering learners and communities to succeed in an increasingly dynamic world.
Eng. Ochieng further emphasized that the award serves as motivation to continue championing initiatives that create opportunities, strengthen institutions, and equip young people with the knowledge and practical skills required to shape the future.

"Leadership is not merely about holding a position; it is about creating lasting impact," he remarked.
He also extended his appreciation to the organizers of the Top Excellence Awards for the honour and thanked stakeholders, partners, educators, and the people of Kisumu County for their continued support in advancing transformative education, innovation, and community empowerment.
